Area cricket Program

The area cricket program is vital in providing a higher standard of competition than school and junior club cricket, to challenge and enable the development of talented players, helping to prepare them to compete for places in the County Age Group Squads.
The ACP is a competitive environment where players are allowed to develop in competitive matches that challenge them to reach their potential and teach them to win and lose respectfully. The competition is played as festivals and finals days between Area Squads pitting them against the best from other areas of Kent.

Central Cavaliers
The Central Cavaliers area covers Maidstone, Medway, and Swale. Calypso Cricket Coaching will be overseeing the coaching and management of the Central Cavalier area squads. We will be working closely with local clubs and leagues to secure nominations of the strongest players within the district.

Selected players will have the opportunity to compete against other areas squads in Kent ACP festivals and 100 ball tournaments throughout the summer. Each team will train together weekly. There are 5 festival teams: under 11s,12s,13s,14s,16s. Along side these teams we have 2 training squads the under 10s and 15s.
